Our team was recently called out to Kingscote to deal with a large, overgrown Leylandii tree sitting on the boundary of a client’s property. While not especially tall, the tree had a massive and densely packed canopy that made it an imposing presence and required careful planning to manage safely.
Heavy Canopy, High Volume of Waste
Despite its moderate height, the sheer mass of the tree made this a substantial job. The dense foliage produced a significant volume of waste, all of which had to be removed from site. To ensure efficiency:
- Branches up to 6 inches in diameter were chipped
- Larger timber was lifted using our compact mini loader, reducing manual handling and speeding up removal
The job was completed on time and without issue, thanks to the right equipment, a well-prepared team, and a focus on safety at every stage.
